歯科医師 後藤吉啓（ごとうよしひろ）D.D.S., M.S.D.
日本大学歯学部を卒業、アメリカ、ロスアンゼルスの南カリフォルニア大学歯学部に入学。同大学卒業後に米国歯科医師免許取得し、ビバリーヒルズにて一般歯科医師として勤務。
その後、シアトルのワシントン州立大学歯学部補綴専門医科大学院に入学。３年間の専門医トレーニングの後卒業、修士課程学位取得、その後南カリフォルニア大学歯学部大学院にて専門医（スペシャリスト）の養成のため臨床准教授に就任し現在まで１７年以上の教鞭を継続。多くの優秀なインプラント治療のエキスパートを世界に送り出している。その後、ワシントン州立大学歯学部臨床准教授に就任し現在は南カリフォルニア大学とワシントン州立大学、両大学にて教鞭をとっており、ニューヨーク大学、カリフォルニア大学サンフランシスコ校などで定期講演を行なっている。
同時にロスアンゼルスのブレントウッドにてブレントウッドデンタルセンターを開業し一般歯科、審美歯科、歯科補綴、口腔外科、歯周病治療、インプラント治療など幅広い治療を日本語または英語にて提供しています 。
多くの映画俳優、監督の審美歯科治療も行い、インプラント治療各種、口腔外科を含む複雑な全歯治療のリコンストラクションなどを得意とし特にインプラントの治療に関しては最先端の技術で多くのケースに対応している 。
ロスアンゼルスで最大のインプラント学会の議長を勤め、常に最先端の知識をもとに患者さんに的確なアドバイスと治療を提供することを第一としている。
その他にも執筆活動や講演活動は卒後歯科教育の一環として大切な一部であると認識し定期的に行っている。既に臨床一般歯科、インプラント、歯科材料などに関して幅広く論文また本の出版を行い歯科技術の発展に貢献している。講演活動は現在米国内外また日本でも年数回行っている。
